Waking up in His Arms
I think I'm still asleep Though I am awake, Things are not the same. I walk different, I speak different, and now it's the Lord I praise. I have not moved, Yet there has been growth, And every night I am so soothed Without any companion. Yet I feel held every chance I need to be had. It is the Lord who is upon me, Who has married me And has blessed me to see, Beyond all of my sleep. It is He who carries me over the deep depth of the ocean I drowned from the call to Him In the praise of my sound out loud. It's the way I can be alone crying for an embrace That has set me to this place. For within a shadow there's a touch From a prayer of such, It's the way I breathe His name and in an exhale, He removes burdens that I have trailed, and uplifts it at a bail. He comforts me to sail in a boat of His love, Sways me in His peace, As I sleep in His dreams I am released, and awake with His grace upon me, For it is Him that carries me in this p
