Child Like Faith

I am like a child, vulnerable in His arms filled with fear to the unexpected and unknown. Never felt so afraid  (when results is dependent  not only for myself but for my entire family.)  Like a child I am vulnerable in His arms.  Filled with fear  but left with no other choice  than to trust the God I know.  Filled with fear  with no other choice  but to trust even the God I don't know.  I will learn to know through the darkness,  through the fear,  through the much afraid,  through the tears,  through the pain,  through the hate,  through the hurt,  through the bleed,  through the victory through the run, through the conquer,  through the stake,  through the claim,   through the aim,  and through the strength In Jesus name.  Through it all,  I will know my God bigger then the fall,  bigger then it all.  My God is the one who saves!  He is the one who t...

Joy in The Ride of The Storm

Image
Maybe you think it's my pride that has me smiling with joy, as if a mask to the pain in the midst of my storm.  But just maybe, it's my trust in the Lord that holds me high with pride, because He guides my life to know that He will never do me wrong; As He keeps me from trembling in the midst of this storm.  If my God is so big,  then how can I crumble from a few stumbles,  that are like seeds to His creeds planted divinely for me.  It is in my walk that guides me to this hour, In the leaning He has me resting in His strong tower.  The testing of my faith has increased me in His power.  All I had to do was stand in belief.  As the winds blow and the storms rage  I stand with my head high and my smile wide, For the joy of the Lord keeps me where He wants me-  Right by His side.  Enjoying the ride of the storm.  Zoraida Clemente

My Christian Formation

March 18, 2015 Thinking back to my Christian walk, without hesitation, the starting timeline of my Christian Formation would be best described at the age of twenty three, when I became a Born-Again Christian.    It would be substantially evident, because it was the point that ultimately changed the course of my life. However, taking the time to consider my relationship with the Lord, I am brought back to my youth, at the age of eleven.  Although my mother was not a committed  Catholic, as a customary ritual had her children enrolled for Communion classes. This would be the mark that directed my heart to love the Lord. This childhood memory is very endearing, because it was a moment where I was taught the word of the Lord.  The Communion classes taught specifically the Psalms, and there began an awakening.  It is vivid in my memory, coming home from Communion classes to immediately  to complete my homework task of studying Bible verses to interpret...

In your Purpose

We are continuously walking towards our purpose, even when we are in the midst of our purpose.  Your purpose may not be in your hand, but it is still resonating within the process.  The process always needs to be defined and refined to be like a shooting arrow to the bulls eye. If your purpose is in only in the bulls eye, how specific will you throw yourself?  Discernment and wisdom is key to our walk.  Seek Him and He will provide for you wisdom and discernment. Wisdom will be your spearhead, the nock will be your discernment, like the head and the foot of your walk shooting to its point. Favor will be your fletchings, giving you flight, and the spine will be your faith that will lock you into your purpose. No matter how someone may try to rip you off of it, fleshly wounds will be ripped from them leaving them scarred to your touch.  The Lord was pleased that Solomon had asked for wisdom. So God replied, “Because you have asked for wisdom in governing my people...

Keep Moving

We are never prepared of what is to come. However, we can be armed for the fight and covered by His blood to see pass the storm. The clouds may fog up our foresight and the wind may slow our pace moving forward, but The Lord is with us and will see us ahead. Do not let the consequences keep you idle. Keep moving forward. The Lord will see you through.  Be encouraged.  Ship your grain across the sea; after many days you may receive a return. Invest in seven ventures, yes, in eight; you do not know what disaster may come upon the land. If clouds are full of water, they pour rain on the earth. Whether a tree falls to the south or to the north, in the place where it falls, there it will lie. Whoever watches the wind will not plant; whoever looks at the clouds will not reap. As you do not know the path of the wind, or how the body is formed in a mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the work of God, the Maker of all things. Sow your seed in the morning, and at evening let your ha...

Live it Real

Life is not a fantasy  So live it like its real  Live it like its God's.  Joy comes from The Lord  In order to receive it you must seek Him to get it.  He is the truth and the light.  Our days will never be full of happiness. Disappointment will always come our way. However, He will never disappoint us. He will always show us the way.  Written by, Zoraida Clemente

TRUST

What and who can we really trust.  There is something so precious when we can find a space, a place, or a person that we can feel safe with. "But not with my servant Moses. Of all my house, he is the one I trust. I speak to him face to face, clearly, and not in riddles! He sees the LORD as he is..." (Numbers 12:7-8 NLT). Safe to express how we really feel without being misunderstood. To understand the intent of our heart  without giving judgement and opinion that can scar your character. To be able to share your deepest secrets and thoughts confidently knowing that those gates will NEVER be opened to expose  and be used against you. In addition, comfort the very core of our souls with a warm loving touch.  A true principle that MOST of us cannot keep fully.  Who but The Lord can do that without fail. Who can offer us a lending ear and never get tired of hearing us speak. Who understands the very core of our hearts before we can define it to Him. Where our broken...
