Good morning my King

Another hour, another day

You gave me to make a way,
Lord, I thank you.

This morning as I arise to the stretch of a new day,
The beauty of the rain that falls,
and the beautiful sound of it all,
To the raindrops that fall over the roof you provide
to cover my head,
Lord, I thank you.

For the life you give and take
for the yesterdays that make my today,
Lord, I thank you.

Even in the darkest night
you are my bright sunshine
carrying me away from shadows of shame,
you cleanse me,
make me spotless with no blame.

Lord, I thank you.

Father God, for all you did and do,
I pray and give thanks to You

Under the same roof you cover me with,
I expand and fill these walls with praise,
I sancitfy and seperate Your Holiness in this place.
As a sacrifice onto you,
O' sweet aroma, sweet aroma
I shall fill,
for the love your poured and spilled,
Lord, I thank you.

Compassion

Sometimes we get so caught up with our lives with the things we can see and control, trying so hard to get it right, meanwhile there's a dying world all around...

Lord help my eyes to see beyond the things before me,
Let my heart extend beyond these borders,
so to pour you over wherever it need be.
Fill in the holes that are deep with wounds
and soothe the pain with your healing rain.
Let my heart share your pain
as I anguish in prayer for rain,
in those dry places,
I have experienced and known all to well.
Let where I came from be my compassion
so to show those who stand in those pits,
there is more to this,
as from where I came from,
to where I stand today,
I can testify that God has made a way.

Destiny Bubbling

Destiny is bubbling up inside of me,

The longing for harvest is like a thirst that is stretched down to my throat.
I feel the roots rising, stretching with the long to grow.
The yearn to rip out of the land that was sown.
like a child pressing down to be delivered into the unknown.

Destiny is calling like a hungry lion
At the top of the mountain Roaring
Giving the game the calling
Destiny is coming like a hungry beast
Ready to feast.
Destiny is bubbling up inside of me,
Stirring like the wind,
Longing to see what the Lord has within.

Destiny is bubbling up inside of me,
As my roots stretch me to this place,
I ponder on those who have plowed the field,
Those who have planted the seeds,
Those who have stirred my soil (soul),
And those who have transplanted me into larger fields,
They could have not known such a responsibility that was given
To nurture a destiny that will cause it to grow in it’s rightful position.
Such a knowledge can only cause someone to fold,
To fear the walk into the land of the unknown,
Or to be gifted with the knowledge and relationship with Christ.
To trust Him and to walk with Him in the direction that is given.
To be obedient in the instruction and to move in the call.
My Lord, Thank you for those you have used to branch me out to Destiny.
